Sankofa Stories, an initiative of Sistahs Aging with Grace & Elegance, uses community-engaged research and narrative storytelling to amplify the lived experiences and voices of older and aging Black adults in California.
With funding support and partnership from The SCAN Foundation Advancing Health Equity Initiative, Sistahs Aging with Grace & Elegance is embarking on a new storytelling journey focused on Black Elders in Los Angeles County. The “Sankofa Elders Project” is a collaboration with California Black Women’s Health Project and Aging while Black.
